Your introduction, stating your top three beliefs about time, describes EXACTLY my own feelings and beliefs. I especially appreciate your "something's gotta give," which often is met with, "but not that." If not that, then what???? I have never received a workable suggestion, and I don't want that. I would like to receive recognition that I have so much on my plate and affirmation that I am not a lazy slob for not getting it all done.

Thank you my friend, and you are neither lazy nor a slob, you are a human with limits.

I want to meet this bra lady! Neither Mike nor I recognize the deep cut. Love your emotional walk through of feelings in this one.

Loved your story! We've all had that experience of showing up on the wrong date or time...and have felt exactly as you describe. Can't wait for the "to be continued"

I cannot even count the times I've been in similar situations. I've either had the date wrong or the place or time wrong...and my nervous system kicks into high gear. For me I think it's abandonment fears that get triggered. I was just thinking last night about how I need to figure out how to calm my nervous system...I mean try to deliberately calm it. Your story also reminded me of going into a department store bra department and asking if they had any "minimizer" bras). The staff member looked down at my chest and said, "Don't you want to celebrate 'em?"

There are all kinds of tricks to calm your nervous system. Unfortunately, alcohol and cigarettes work really well. I'm grateful they don't appeal to me.

And yes! Flaunt 'em if you've got 'em!
