Thank you so much for that. It means the world to me. It's why I'm doing this. And, I'm so sorry ❤️

I'm crying real tears in this bed that you were in just last week in New York City. Literally "in the same bed as you," eh? I know all the big parts and feelings of this story, but loved to hear all the nuances and emotions and things I didn't have complete privy to before reading all the pieces tied together. You wove all of this so beautifully together. Me and my boobies love you and yours.

I see you, read regularly, and this was one of the more relatable (if uncomfortable) pieces. Thank you!

There is so much to unpack in this story...

I know this will be in my mind: «I remember once that the sign of a good parent is how they react when their child walks into the room.»

Am at a loss to comment adequately at your journey in this story—all words seem so trivial but your experience hit me hard. In a good way.

I don’t think there is a self-doubt that you have written about that we haven’t all felt. Love the support and acceptance from your gal pals.

First, congratulations on your Substack milestone! That is quite an accomplishment. 🎉

Second, thank you for being so vulnerable in your writing. It allows so many of us to crawl into those spaces and feel better about our own complex feelings. 💕

Third, love the pie lady recommendation - very cool.

Fourth, I was at Hillary the other night too...and the stories about friendship, the Afghanistan women, and the Supreme Court also stood out to me. Thanks for using the platform to encourage the vote.

Thank you so much for all <3 Wasn't HRC amazing? If anyone deserves to sit under her own vine and fig tree its her, but that's not how she rolls. So inspiring!

So glad you had something lovely to attend after we so callously ditched you (kidding -- we would never!!). But seriously, so glad you had this delightfully circle of supportive friends to lift you up (like your wonderful new bra) just when you needed it. AND -- looking forward to seeing you (for real this time!) in a few weeks!!
